A workshop on REDCap was organized from 20-21 January 2022. REDCap is a data management system used to capture patient information and follow up details. The broad aim of the workshop was to ensure that adequate data was collected accurately from the project sites, utilizing REDCap.

The aim of the workshop was to review the first year of the project and prepare for year 2 activities. As some of the collaborating sites were not part of Phase 1 of the project, they therefore needed some training as the project would be going into a research-orientated  phase in year 2.

A workshop on REDCap was organized from 20-21 January 2022. REDCap is a data management system used to capture patient information and follow up details. The broad aim of the workshop was to ensure that adequate data was collected accurately from the project sites, utilizing REDCap.

The workshop had a good representation of the different stakeholder groups, with 80% of the project sites able to connect to the Abuja hub online for the workshop. Patients/care-givers from all the sites, made up 46% of attendees, with doctors (all specialities) making up the second largest group of attendees at 21%.
